- 1 pillsbury pie crust
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 4 medium apples cored and diced
- Crisp:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oat
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup salted butter, softened
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup caramel topping
- Special Equipment:
- 6 mason jar rings with lids
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add diced apples,lemon juice and toss. Set aside.
- For the topping: Combine the flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and butter in a bowl, stir in pecans. Mix well. Set aside.
- Unroll pie crust and place on a lightly floured surface. Using the mason ring as a cookie cutter cut six circles from pie crust.
- Spray mason rings and lids with non stick cooking spray and place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Place the pie circles in each of the prepared lids. Divide the apple filling among the rings. Cover apple mixture with crips mixture dividing between each ring.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until apples are tender. Remove from oven.
- Allow to cool slightly and drizzle with caramel topping.
- Serve in mason ring or pop out onto a plate. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
