What the Forks for Thanksgiving? Here are some of our past favs for both the big turkey day and for all those leftovers!
Thanksgiving Turkey Roll is all of Thanksgiving rolled up in one beautiful, crispy skinned, juicy, herby main dish. All of the usual Thanksgiving dishes, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. This dish is perfect if you have a small group, or if you want to impress your guests. Best part is that it can be made ahead……more time with your guests.
This slaw is another make ahead item. Although I would add the dressing on Turkey Day. Cabbage, kale, cranberries, and almonds with a maple dijon dressing. A light side to your dinner.
Thanksgiving would not be complete without green bean casserole. This is a made from scratch version that will become a family favorite
Green Bean Casserole Turnovers
Combining two traditional Thanksgiving favorites green bean casserole and crescent rolls.
This is truly a dazzling dessert that requires no fancy decorating skills. Let it be the crowning glory of your meal……move over pumpkin pie!
Now, what to do with all those leftovers??
The meal was perfect and you had a wonderful day with family and friends. But it’s Friday and to us at least thats pizza day. Use up your leftover with this delicious pizza.
Every year I try to make something different with the Thanksgiving day leftovers. These were the bomb!! They can be fried or made in an Air-Fryer.
Puff pastry crust with layers of Thanksgiving. This could even be dinner if you are just a few.
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends!!
