What the Forks for Thanksgiving? Here are some of our past favs for both the big turkey day and for all those leftovers!
Thanksgiving Turkey Roll
Thanksgiving Turkey Roll is all of Thanksgiving rolled up in one beautiful, crispy skinned, juicy, herby main dish. All of the usual Thanksgiving dishes, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. This dish is perfect if you have a small group, or if you want to impress your guests. Best part is that it can be made ahead……more time with your guests.
Turkey Day Slaw
This slaw is another make ahead item. Although I would add the dressing on Turkey Day. Cabbage, kale, cranberries, and almonds with a maple dijon dressing. A light side to your dinner.
Green Bean Casserole
Thanksgiving would not be complete without green bean casserole. This is a made from scratch version that will become a family favorite
Green Bean Casserole Turnovers
Combining two traditional Thanksgiving favorites green bean casserole and crescent rolls.
Cranberry Orange Bundt Cake
This is truly a dazzling dessert that requires no fancy decorating skills. Let it be the crowning glory of your meal……move over pumpkin pie!

Using a prepackaged cabbage mix, cubed corned beef, cubed swiss cheese, and a tangy 1,000 Island dressing. Rustic Rueben Slaw is all you love about a Rueben in a salad form.
Over the years trying to make new things for special occasions and holidays can be a daunting task. Continue reading “Rustic Rueben Slaw”
Johnny AppleSlaw Burger

I have had a thing for apples lately. Not sure why, but they sound good all the time…….alone, just a juicy, shiny, crispy apple. Dipped in caramel, or peanut butter…….baked into a pie or crisp…..hmmm. So why not on a burger????? Continue reading “Johnny AppleSlaw Burger”
