Tim and I made bratwurst several times during the summer months (try our Brussel Brats with Honey Mustard Sauce ). As usual, we had leftover buns, go figure….. I have been using brioche buns, something about the fluffy sweetness I really like. But what to do with those leftover buns? Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Sticks, of course.

I have never in all my years had a Crème Brûlée! Where has this dessert been all my life?
Crème Brûlée also known as burnt cream, is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. It is customarily served slightly chilled; the heat from the caramelizing process tends to warm the custard slightly leaving a cool center.
