St Patrick’s Day is traditionally a corned beef and beer day! I must turn to the unconventional……..kinda.

Speaking of untraditional, in our community there is a bar/ restaurant called “Kelly’s”
The Kelly family has owned it as long as I can remember. The untraditional part…….they serve Mexican food…awesome Mexican food!

I remember years ago when they first started serving food, they only served on weekends……the line to get in was always long! These days they serve everyday and still have the best Mexican food. What would a Holiday celebration be with out dessert……nothing 🙂

I think we have come to the conclusion that Tim and I are dessert eaters. We have dessert almost everyday……..which is why……..well for us, we are fat!!! But who trusts a skinny cook right?

Awww Spring is in the air……last week was freezing, what a difference a day makes……today was in the 40’s and it will be in the 50’s the rest of the week…..So long Winter…….Hello Spring!

Although the winter here was nothing like the folks out east, it has seemed long. I am ready for my flip-flops and no coat…….I hate shoes and coats…..both are too cumbersome.

So, it’s still chilly out, and Tim and I were in the mood for chicken, so how about chicken soup? But, lets pay homage to Spring……..Spring Chicken Soup.
